This site is written by Matt Merkel Hess, an artist with more than 20 years of experience in art studios, and more than 10 years of experience as an educator and studio manager.
The goal of the site is to share information in a clear and straightforward way. There are tons of websites, forums and books but it can be hard to decipher what might be the best solution for your studio. The information on this site is studio-tested and presented in the best way we know.
